- Thanks for some initial replys. Here's a follow-up on what I've achieved
- by now:
-
- OK, I finally got my system to recognize my Fujitsu SCSI hard disk again
- in addition to my two IDE drives by first disconnecting one and formatting
- the SCSI disk under DOS. Then I installed OS/2 on it, and after that I could
- connect the second IDE drive again. Then I was able to format the SCSI drive
- (HPFS). However, now OS/2 crashes more or less often when I read (or
- write?) anything on this disk. It is not always reproducible, but the
- error message (i.e. where the system is halted) is always the same:
-
- [stuff that's not always the same deleted]
-
- The system detected an internal processing
- error at location ##0160:fff6459e - 000d:959e.
- 60000, 9084
-
- 048600b4
- Internal revision 6.466, 92/10/15
-
- The system is stopped. [...]
-
- Now I'd like to know if this is indicative of a software problem in OS/2
- or if this points at a hardware problem.
-
- Does anybody have an idea?
-
- Thanks,
- Peter

- P.S.:
- If you want to reply via e-mail send it to 'forster@sispa.chem.tu-berlin.de'
- and do not simply reply. It seems that our news poster omits the 'sispa' in
- the above address, thus making the reply address invalid.
