  12. Thanks for some initial replys. Here's a follow-up on what I've achieved
  13. by now:

  15. OK, I finally got my system to recognize my Fujitsu SCSI hard disk again
  16. in addition to my two IDE drives by first disconnecting one and formatting
  17. the SCSI disk under DOS. Then I installed OS/2 on it, and after that I could
  18. connect the second IDE drive again. Then I was able to format the SCSI drive
  19. (HPFS). However, now OS/2 crashes more or less often when I read (or
  20. write?) anything on this disk. It is not always reproducible, but the
  21. error message (i.e. where the system is halted) is always the same:

  34. Now I'd like to know if this is indicative of a software problem in OS/2
  35. or if this points at a hardware problem.
