- Boot Manager is always a primary partition. DOS also needs to be primary.
- OS/2 should be logical in order to access the DOS partition. (Only one
- primary paritition may be active; if both DOS and OS/2 are primary, only
- one accessed during any given boot.) It would be better to put the DOS
- partition right after the Boot Manager: if the order is OS/2 and then DOS,
- the OS/2 partition is C:, and the DOS partition is D: under OS/2. When DOS
- is booted, the DOS drive is C: (rather than D:, as under OS/2). This could
- be a big source of headaches, plus a lot of confusion in DOS batch files and
- the DOS CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT.
-
- I hope this helps.
