  11. Having just recieved my Texel 3024 CD-ROM drive, I was wondering if anyone else
  12. out there was having serious problems with the audio playback?

  14. The problem is that if audio playback is occuring, and another task goes for
  15. the hard disk, then eventually a deadlock results with my computer being hung
  16. and the audio stopped.

  18. Is it something I've missed in my CONFIG.SYS file? Perhaps its my setup?

  21. 386dx40 + 16M ram + Future Domain 8xx compatible SCSI controller + 40M 
  22. brandless IDE + 120M maxtor SCSI + Texel 3024 CD-ROM + 1M Tseng ET4000 VGA

  24. So perhaps what I'm asking is for others with a similar setup to write and tell
  25. me whether the beta drivers on watson lock up their computer during audio
  26. playback?
