  10. Hi, it's me again.  Sorry to be such a bother.

  12. I have a printer that barfs when I try to use it.  Le me show you the
  13. error messages I get:

  17. Message 1:  Gotten at startup
  18.  
  19.     SPL2162:  Operation cannot be performed while print device is in
  20.     current state
  21.  
  22.  
  23. Message 2:  Gotten whenever I try to print.  The spooler seems to putz
  24. away fro 30 to 60 seconds and then repots this back:

  26.     Error (004) CANNOT write to printer "LPT1"
  27.  
  28.     Abort / Retry / Ignore
  29.        (these are in buttons)
  30.  
  31. if I press retry or ignore, it repeats the error.

  33. Any thoughts?
