- Let me pose this question, if you are going to match 200,000 records
- against a 4,000,000 records, how long do you think it will take? From
- my experience, at least 4 hours (486/33MHz machine). Are you willing
- to give up your computer for that long? NO!!! Even if performance is
- reduced by 10% (not necessarily) when running under a multi-tasking
- environment , you can still access other resources - music playing
- from your CD, formatting diskettes, querying other databases, play
- a game, reading internet postings...and so on.

- optimizeable under a multitasking environment - spell that
- P-R-O-D-U-C-T-I-V-I-T-Y and O-S/2.
