- I spend most of yesterday afternoon and night installing the 2.1 beta.
- Boy, that was fun (NOT!)
-
- In any case.....
-
- Please understand that I have NEVER used OS/2 before, having been a windows
- geek forever.
-
- In any case, here is what my system looks like at this point:
-
- 386-25 w/ 8mb
- Drive C: 105mb FAT (using boot manager defaulting to DOS)
- Drive D: 54mb FAT
- Drive E: 70mb HPFS (OS/2 is installed here)
- WD/Paradise VGA w/ 512k
- SoundBlaster
-
- Now, I installed the MMOS/2 thingy and now I get an error something like
- the following:
-
- SYS1201: Device Driver E:\mmos2\sbd2.sys on line 65 not installed. Line
- 65 ignored.
-
-
- Line 65 is:
- DEVICE=E:\MMOS2\SBD2.SYS 1 7 220 4
-
-
- Without killing me for my apparent stupidity, can anyone tell me what is
- wrong here?
-
- Thanks.
-
- BTW: I'm learning fast. Without having any docs of any type, I created
- my first program icon, for a communications program. I'm happy.
-
- Simple things for simple minds, I guess. :-)
