  10. I spend most of yesterday afternoon and night installing the 2.1 beta. 
  11. Boy, that was fun (NOT!)

  13. In any case.....

  15. Please understand that I have NEVER used OS/2 before, having been a windows
  16. geek forever.

  18. In any case, here is what my system looks like at this point:

  20. 386-25 w/ 8mb
  21. Drive C:  105mb FAT (using boot manager defaulting to DOS)
  22. Drive D:   54mb FAT
  23. Drive E:   70mb HPFS (OS/2 is installed here) 
  24. WD/Paradise VGA w/ 512k
  25. SoundBlaster

  27. Now, I installed the MMOS/2 thingy and now I get an error something like

  30. SYS1201:  Device Driver E:\mmos2\sbd2.sys on line 65 not installed.  Line
  31. 65 ignored.

  38. Without killing me for my apparent stupidity, can anyone tell me what is
  39. wrong here?

  43. BTW:  I'm learning fast.  Without having any docs of any type, I created
  44. my first program icon, for a communications program.  I'm happy.
