- I have just OS/2 Version 2.0 and OS/2 Advanced LAN 3.0 on an IBM model
- 95. The install sets up for an XGA display, which looks like it can
- handle 1024*768. The monitor is an IBM 8518, altho I have a NEC 4FG
- available I can switch from another computer, if need be. The IBM docs
- I have do not tell me the max. resolution of the 8518 (they refer to
- a tech ref doc not supplied), nor how to switch the XGA to a higher
- res. from the 640*480 that seems to have been set up. Any info on
- either? The last may be a FAQ, in which case simply point me to where
- I should look.
-
- Thanks in advance.... :->

- I believe that an 8518 is not capable of anything greater than
- 640x480. I remember it being described as being an 8515 without the
- capability of doing 8514/a or XGA... I don't remember where, but
- since I worked at IBM last summer when it was introduced, I suspect it
- was then...
