- Hi folks!
-
- I may have just missed it in my perusal of the information available,
- but here goes. Is there a way to change the global defaults for OS/2
- WPS windows. For instance, I very much prefer "flowed" and "always
- sorted" options in nearly all windows which present groups of objects
- (icons, file, et cetera). However, I'm growing very annoyed about the
- lack of any means to establish these parameters on a global basis.
- Instead, I find myself having to open the settings for each window and
- sub-window and check these items individually. Even then, these don't
- always appear to be "sticky". That is, if the window is closed and
- re-opened, I have to set them all over again!
-
- By the bye - I have a suitable punishment for the brain-dead programmer
- that decided that the default display would be in random order. He/she
- should be forced to locate information/files/icons/objects in large
- collections for the rest of his/her days. The valued of ordered lists
- will soon become apparent!
