  12. I may have just missed it in my perusal of the information available,
  13. but here goes.  Is there a way to change the global defaults for OS/2
  14. WPS windows.  For instance, I very much prefer "flowed" and "always
  15. sorted" options in nearly all windows which present groups of objects
  16. (icons, file, et cetera).  However, I'm growing very annoyed about the
  17. lack of any means to establish these parameters on a global basis.
  18. Instead, I find myself having to open the settings for each window and
  19. sub-window and check these items individually.  Even then, these don't
  20. always appear to be "sticky".  That is, if the window is closed and
  21. re-opened, I have to set them all over again!

  23. By the bye - I have a suitable punishment for the brain-dead programmer
  24. that decided that the default display would be in random order.  He/she
  25. should be forced to locate information/files/icons/objects in large
  26. collections for the rest of his/her days.  The valued of ordered lists
  27. will soon become apparent!
