  14. I've got a summary of answers to my last questions + a couple
  15. of new ones.

  18. Old stuff:
  19. 1)  links:  OS2 doesn't have them.  WPS does, but they are only
  20. accesible from WPS
  21. 2)  where WPS looks for bitmaps:  only in /os2/bitmap.  You can
  22. use find in the settings notebook to get other ones, but everyone
  23. knows what a pain that is.
  24. 3)  Unix 'sort':  this is on hobbes in misc_utils.zip?? (sorry, I
  25. deleted the .zip file) along with a bunch of other stuff like wc,
  26. pr, sum etc..  
  27. 4)  Calling programs from WPS menu:  WPS adds the calling directory
  28. as an arguement to the program.  The way around this would be to
  29. have the menu call a .cmd script that deals with this and then runs
  30. the actual program.

  34. New stuff:
  35. 1)  I can't stand any of the colors set by the termcap entries with
  36. gnuemacs.  Can someone tell me which termcap agruements control the
  37. colors so that I can make new entries.

  39. 2)  I'd like hardcopy of some of the manuals.  How do I take the .inf
  40. files and turn them into text or, better yet, postscript.  I don't
  41. want to print each piece out interactively with view.exe.

  43. 3)  I picked up compress from hobbes.  Where is uncompress???
  44. Is it the same file with arguements??
