- I just finished installing OS/2 2.1 Beta on a machine that is connected
- to a Novell network. Amazingly, it never occurred to me until this
- moment that there might be a problem connecting it to the network.
-
- (I guess I was spoiled by the DV/X install, which automatically detects
- the presence of, e.g., Novell, and automatically does the right thing.
- Anyway, I guess I just expected OS/2 to come with Novell support.)
-
- Interestly, enuf, I can load SMCIPX, and NETX, in a DOS Window, and they
- load w/o error, but the F: drive does not make itself known...
-
- It does work, not surprisingly, in specific DOS.
- Is this the state of the art?
