  12. My WPS crashes regularily, sommetimes three or four times an hour.
  13. I'm in the process of checking and testing several software.
  14. Doing so the most frequent job is opening a folder, reading a readme-file
  15. with the system editor, and then dragging the folder (mostly with
  16. folder window left open) to shredder.
  17.  
  18. The crashes are accompanied by lots of strange effects:
  19. - sometimes ctrl-alt-delete and/or shutdown can't boot the system anymore,
  20.   but never complete
  21. - sometimes system hangs completely
  22. - once I even got a trap d
  23.  
  24. My System is GA+SP, with ET4000 driver and Novell Requester.

  26. Someone mentioned the et400 drivers beeing flakey. I got rid of my trident
  27. and purchased an ET4000 finally to have a working svga, so I installed 
  28. them some days ago...
  29. but should I remove them again ?
