  31. This is interesting. When I called PSI they insisted that their 
  32. controllers will only work with another controller of their
  33. manufacture. I can think of no apparent reason why this need be
  34. the case and the PSI representative offered no explanation. It
  35. became moot anyway since I discovered that the PSI controllers
  36. are grotesquely overpriced. Currently I have a Promise DC-2040
  37. SCSI and an Ultrastor 12F ESDI controller happily coexisting in
  38. my system (Ultrastor was even kind enough to fax a coresidence
  39. data sheet). I have also heard of numerous other controller
  40. combinations.
