- This is interesting. When I called PSI they insisted that their
- controllers will only work with another controller of their
- manufacture. I can think of no apparent reason why this need be
- the case and the PSI representative offered no explanation. It
- became moot anyway since I discovered that the PSI controllers
- are grotesquely overpriced. Currently I have a Promise DC-2040
- SCSI and an Ultrastor 12F ESDI controller happily coexisting in
- my system (Ultrastor was even kind enough to fax a coresidence
- data sheet). I have also heard of numerous other controller
- combinations.
