  21. One thing to keep in mind about the CONFIG.SYS file is that it isn't always
  22. read in order.  For example, I think the BASEDEV device drivers are loaded
  23. before other device drivers. The Redbooks discussed this in detail, but it 
  24. has been a while since I read it so I'm a bit fuzzy on the details.

  26. Some of the other lines are order dependant.  For example, the order of the 
  27. mouse drivers and the COM drivers are important.
