  25. OK, I did exactly that.

  27. I made 7 or so diskettes for the Win 3.1 beta from the November PDK CD-ROM.
  28. Ran the install (SP already there).

  30. It replaced my Kernel and about a dozen or so other files.

  32. I *re-ran* the SP disks to bump those files back to the SP level.

  34. Everything works more-or-less fine, considering it is beta code.  Certainly 
  35. worth my while as all the Win stuff runs much faster.

  37. However, at this point it might be better to go with the later Win 3.1 stuff 
  38. by installing the 2.1 beta.
