- OK, I did exactly that.

- I made 7 or so diskettes for the Win 3.1 beta from the November PDK CD-ROM.
- Ran the install (SP already there).

- It replaced my Kernel and about a dozen or so other files.

- I *re-ran* the SP disks to bump those files back to the SP level.

- Everything works more-or-less fine, considering it is beta code. Certainly
- worth my while as all the Win stuff runs much faster.

- However, at this point it might be better to go with the later Win 3.1 stuff
- by installing the 2.1 beta.
