  17. start up a bunch of migrated DOS apps. He kept getting the error

  20. Yes, I had this problem.  Some kind soul on this news group
  21. recommended that I run a chkdsk /f against the c: drive .  
  22. (Note that this must be done after booting OS/2 from the floppys
  23. and then copying the chkdsk command to a floppy for execution
  24. against the hard drive: "a:>chkdsk c: /f" )
