- Either that or he's in marketting and senses the opportunity to
- persuade someone that they need a new machine! A few years ago I heard
- someone from INMOS advising a customer to buy a transputer board
- with 2Mb of memory rather try to save money by getting one with 1Mb
- and the fit another Mb of memory chips themselves. The advice given
- was "The unused memory sockets may not have been tested" - can't
- remember if the customer was stupid enough to fall for this!
