- Ok, I've been having these problems for quite some time now, starting with GA
- and continuing with the SP installed.
-
- First of all, I cannot open a full screen dos session if I want to use my
- modem at the same time. If I have TE/2 running (great program) and then open
- a fs dos session, then the comm port hangs. I have to completely exit TE/2 to
- get it back. I have a Supra 2400 baud modem, and other that this problem, it
- is just fine. This problem is starting to bug me. Especially when I don't mean
- to start a FS dos session and have to restart TE/2. Very frustrating.
-
- Another problem revolves around my lpt1 port. There are a few games which try
- to check out my hardware during the config process, and they check lpt1 for
- some reason. I'm assuming they are looking for a parallel port sound card or
- something similar. Anyway, OS/2 will ceaselessly pop up and tell me that there
- is some other app using lpt1. I really don't know what this app could be...If
- I open the settings for the print object, the output page shows lpt1 hashed
- like it is open or something. And I can't find any way to disable this.
-
- Anyone have any answers?
-
- Thanks.
