- One of the ways ATI tries to improve performance is by mapping the 2MB of
- video ram into the first 16MB of address space, in order to avoid having to
- page the video ram in and out through A000-BFFF. Of course, if you have 16MB
- of ram installed, there is nowhere to perform this mapping. There are
- drivers available from ATI which allow use of the accelerator features without
- using the memory window for the video ram.

- I am using the card under dos, windoze and os2 in a 486/50 with 16MB of ram
- quite happily...
