  10. When I go into a full screen DOS session and type SVGA ON I receive
  11. the following message:

  13. Error generating Clent: Requires VESA compliant BIOS

  16. What am I doing wrong. I have an ATI wonder XL with 1 meg of memory. I
  17. am currently using Joel's ver 1.0 drivers. I tried using the generic
  18. 800*600*16 drivers but I get the following message when I boot my
  19. machine:

  21. SYS0355 The Display mode requested is not correct or the VIO function
  22. requested is not valid for the current display mode.

  25. Again what is wrong with my system such that the only SVGA drivers
  26. that seem to work are Joel's original drivers? Should I be talking to
  27. ATI about getting an updated BIOS. Can one even upgrade the BIOS on
  28. ATI XL cards?
