  10. I have recently acquired a 660 Mb ESDI hard drive for a machine at work.
  11. This machine currently has a 330 Mb ESDI drive that is about full, mostly
  12. with DOS applications. It runs OS/2 and DOS (dual boot), and the 330 HD
  13. is formatted for FAT (a single partition). I would like to have all the DOS
  14. programs and current/future data files accessible from DOS, yet give OS/2
  15. some HPFS space, if that will make it run more efficiently. Some questions:

  17. 1) How should I best set up the drives so that I can preserve the dual boot
  18. option (I need this for running some VCPI programs)?
  19.  
  20. 2) Should I format the new drive under OS/2 or DOS? (FDISK?)
  21.  
  22. 3) Would it be easier to wait for OS/2 2.1 to come out before connecting
  23. the new drive, and then install OS/2 from scratch?
  24.  
  25. Any help/opinions/caveats are much appreciated.
