- Summary: Help with installatio of 2.1 beta
- Keywords: trap 000d, 2.1 beta
-
- After inserting the second floppy and it working off that for a while, I
- get a trap 000d. Someone else suggested that I rem out the set deldir
- variable in my config.sys (2.0 config) and try again. Well, that didn't
- work.
-
- Since beta support is through Compuserve, I will post here again. The
- problem system is a Compaq 486/25 with trantor t-128 scsi card and
- NEC-36 cdrom. These are working just fine under 2.0.
-
- The beta installation disks were made and modified to include the new
- add file. These disks work in both a generic 486/33 clone and a
- Gateway 2000 (not generic ;) ) 486/33. So, they are not the problem.
- The only difference I see is neither of these systems had 2.0 and the
- Compaq does.
-
- Any help???? I would like to install directly over and not reinstall
- everything until I get tape backup (BackMaster probably).
-
- Thanks,
- Andy
