- I talked to a Radius customer support person today and asked him some
- questions about their upcoming ISA XGA-2 board. He's sending me a full info
- pack, but these are some things he told me:
-
- -- Shipping Mid-January
- -- Direct sales only initially because of high demand
- -- First shipment is already spoken for
- -- Price: $499. Period. No specials, no retail discounts.
- -- Will busmaster and work with other busmasters
- -- OS/2 2.0 is going to be supported with drivers supplied with the
- card.
- -- 1024x768x65536 color mode under OS/2
- -- Has 8-bit DACs (16.7 million colors)
-
- That's about it. I'm impressed with the specs, but it'd be nice if it
- was $150 cheaper.
