- Yo Tim...
-
- I'd like you know how much I to appreciate your time and efforts in
- contibuting to this group. I have come to read your posts without
- fail and have learned a great deal. I work as a computer tech, and
- my cohorts have dubbed me the OS/2 guru. I have tried to make it clear
- that a. I am NOT a guru on anything, and b. that I owe my meager
- knowledge to the usenet in general and people like you who selflessly
- give of themselves to enlighten others. If only our school systems
- were filled with people like you, the US would have a brighter future.
- Unfortunately, to many people have their imagination taught right out of
- them because of teachers who can't/won't/are afraid of/have been (told/
- taught) not to teach as life presents itself and school systems
- that are afraid of something as simple as "relaxation techniques".
- (True Story...) Local school system discontinued such relaxation
- techniques (deep and rhythmic breathing, stretching exercises, etc.)
- after a few parents claimed it smacked of "New Age" and that was
- to close to witchcraft and satanism (I am not making this up).
-
- Ah well....sorry for the rant...The point is that anyone who takes
- the time to inspire and motivate the inate curiosity in H. sap and
- to enlighten them patiently deserves a round of applause and
- sincere respect. Thanks Timothy.
