- There's no problem using 32-bit code to access a 16-bit device. After
- all, the device just responds to signals on its address/data/IRQ
- lines, and doesn't care one bit about protected/real/v86 mode. All a
- 16-bit device means is that you can only transfer data to it 16 bits
- at a time.

- The video board is always what determines interlacing. Some boards
- will auto-detect an NI monitor, but many won't. If your board
- supports it, there will probably be a program or a DIP-switch to set
- this up.
