- Actually, having gone through the same situation (I was actually one
- of the first to install OS/2 on a GW2K 66Vesa and discover the problem,
- or at least one of the first to bitch about it to tech support), the
- way to install OS/2 on that system is to run the ATISETUP program
- and set your card to default to PLAIN VGA at 60HZ. Then when you
- get to the place where you select Video options, you can select
- 8514/a (best option at this time). Once you are all done, you can
- open a full screen dos session and reconfigure the card to run faster
- and higher modes (1024x768 @72hz). Make sure to save your settings!
