  14. I'm considering purchasing OS/2 for my machine and should like to
  15. draw upon the knowledge of existing users...

  17. I have a 33MHz 386SX with 4Mb RAM and a 1991 AMI BIOS (ACER
  18. motherboard). The BIOS i.d. ends with -F which I understand to
  19. indicate that the keyboard BIOS should be suitable. However, I've
  20. had some problems with the Coherent OS in that I couldn't use
  21. virtual consoles due to keyboard scan code set 3 not functioning
  22. correctly - does OS/2 use scan set 3 at all?

  24. I have a 170Mb IBM IDE drive partitioned as 70Mb primary DOS and
  25. 40Mb extended (DRDOS 6.0). Would it be possible to install OS/2
  26. in the remaining 60Mb and allow it to access the DOS partitions,
  27. or would I have to start again with a clean hard disk?
