- Does anybody know if Autodesk plans to port AutoCAD R12 to OS/2 ver 2.0.
-
- I have been using been using AutoCAD R10 for OS/2 ver 1.1 / 1.2 since 1989 and
- for the last year have been running it under OS/2 ver 2.0.
-
-
- An interesting fact.
- Autodesk claim that they tested a 32 bit port and found it too slow. I find
- this hard to swallow as the 16 bit R10 version runs very nicely thank you.
-
- Another interesting fact.
- In Autodesk's literature they list all
- platforms that they will no longer support as well as platforms that they plan
- to support in the future. OS/2 appears on neither list. However, there is vauge
- mention of it in some of the developers manuals.
-
- With over 1 million copies of OS/2 sold what are they waiting for.
-
- I'll be interested in hearing any comments on this matter.
