- Subject: Hard Crash Running Fastback 2.10 -- Is it worth reporting?

- Summary: Is a non-repeatable hard crash under GA+SP still worth reporting?

- Last night, running a Fastback 2.10 restore in a DOS Full Screen, the
- system crashed hard with the following message:
-
- The system detected an internal processing
- error at location ##0160:fff83b6a - 000d:00028b6a
- 2130, 7010
-
- 0 386 00d1
- Internal revision 6.466 92/10/15
-
- The system is stopped. Record the location number
- of the error and contact your service representative.
-
- The crash was not repeatable. The system was GA+SP.
-
-
- My question, for those of you who have closer ties with IBM:
-
- Since they're almost at 2.1, is IBM still interested in a report on
- a crash like this? Even when it's not repeatable? I don't feel a
- burning need to follow up -- It only happened once.
-
- Rather than waste bandwidth, system configuration is available upon
- request.
