  19. I'd recommend not using NOSWAP unless you have a MINIMUM of 20MB of
  20. memory.  I have 8MB of RAM, and my swapfile typically varies between
  21. 6MB and 10MB, occasionally spiking to 12MB.  This is having DINFO,
  22. CLOCK, ALARMS, Daily Planner, a windowed session, GNU-Emacs, GCC/2,
  23. and the Tooklit PM reference open and running at once.
