- :Sorry but it does hang the system. I tried ctrl-esc (etc) even ctrl-alt-del
- :failed to reboot. But you are correct. If you give it a file the first time
- :it seems to be OK afterword. It "remembers" the file and recalls it if
- :you don't give it a file name on startup. This is definitely a BUG and to
- :my mind a very bad one!
-
- Are you sure? Are you using Beta 2.1 or anything strange/non vanilla,
- approved by IBM? Using Service Pack?
-
- Because when LstPM hangs, I press control-esc, then wait a few seconds
- (it isn't instantaneous) without pressing other keys or jiggling the mouse,
- and the system pops up a menu, offering to kill it (Program not responding..)
-
- I'm a little more worried about OS/2 not intercepting, and offering
- to clobber the program, than worried about the buggy program itself.
-
- If you are in the mood for a cold boot and 10 minute long auto chkdsk,
- try the bug again and see if OS/2 doesn't come through and save the day.
- (does on mine)
