-
- After futzing around with emTeX and being quite unsuccessful in getting it
- to work with the gcc documentation, I gave up and used TeX and dvips on my
- school's unix systems. I have uploaded the DVI and PostScript version of
- the manual for GCC 2.2.2 (the non-emx version) to hobbes.nmsu.edu in the
- pub/uploads directory as gccdvi.zip and gccps.zip.
-
- Incidentally, I was successful in viewing the PostScript file with version
- 2.5.2 of GhostScript for OS/2. Unfortunatly, I couldn't get GhostScript to
- print correctly on my IBM PC Graphics Printer (yes, the real thing, though
- it's really an Epson inside). I tried both the epson and eps9high device
- drivers included with GhostScript at all resolutions and none of those
- combinations worked correctly even with the sample PostScript files. I
- would be grateful if anyone who has gotten GhostScript to work with an Epson
- printer would share their secrets with me. I have also asked for help on
- gnu.ghostscript.bug and will pass along any helpful replies that I receive.
