-
- I have an Irwin Accutrak A250. The software for OS/2 was $99. It
- works OK for me, but I have a limited need. I do occasional backups,
- but do not have a set schedule or automatic backups. The capability
- is there however.
-
- Initially I had 2 HPFS partitions and one FAT. I decided to make all
- the partitions HPFS. My procedure was to do a full backup, reformat
- using HPFS, and restore. Everything worked as advertised and I had no
- problems at all.
-
- The PM interface is pretty good.
-
- Some people complain that a floppy interface for a tape drive is slow.
- For my purposes, I have no complaints on use, accuracy, or speed.
-
- Irwin has been taken over by Maynard. The only complaint is in
- accounting. I still have a problem with them on billing for the
- software that was shipped to me in late October.
