- Lightning never strikes twice in the same place. What Grace Hopper
- did for COBOL, no government committee could hope to match the
- second time around. COBOL for all it's banality provided a common
- solution to business problems that is still in use to day. ADA only
- survives because DoD mandates it. IF it was such a good thing, the
- private sector would have hopped on the bandwagon years ago and we
- would all be coding in ADA, not C or C++.
