- Canada has a sufficient military for a non-agressive world role, which
- is primarily used fro peace-keeping (Canadian personnel are all over
- the world in peace keeping roles, while the US makes a big deal out of
- Somalia) Canadians have little need to take over small island nations
- nor pick fights with other countries - maybe that's why we have free
- global medical care. If I am sick or injured, I'd rather head for the
- local Walk-in Clinic for immediate care than somewhere where I have to
- fill out a form and verify I can pay for the treatment before I get it...
