  11. JM..If DR-DOS conforms to all published interfaces to MS-DOS, and a new version
  12. JM..Windows breaks when used with that same DOS, and the previous version worked
  13. JM..fine, and MS refuses to help fix the problem, then the conclusion that MS
  14. JM..intentionally made Windows quit working on DR-DOS is very hard to escape.

  16. Maybe, Jay. Even probably. OTOH, knowing DR's previous track record I
  17. would tend to suspect their programming incompetence as well as
  18. Microsoft's paranoia. However, to be fair to DR, I understand that it
  19. wasn't actually anything to do with DR-DOS's compatibility. As far as OI
  20. know, Win31 actively looked for DRDOS and then refused to run with it
  21. loaded.
