- simply by varying the price difference between an exclusive deal and a

- Ah, but, in that case, the customer doesn't care what screws are being used;
- as long as the product is held together, it makes no difference to him. In
- contrast to that, I _do_ care which OS comes on my machine (after all, this is
- the whole purpose of this exercise), and, I presume, others would care that
- their machine comes with DOS and Windows (though the reason completely escapes
- me).
