- HPFS was introduced with OS/2 1.2 (I have been using OS/2 since 1.1,
- which did not have HPFS. I have never used Word 5.5, but Word 1.1 for
- OS/2 does understand long file-names under HPFS. Also Excel 3.0 for
- OS/2 can use long file-names with HPFS.
