- We often use ZIP and then BACKUP (in OS2) to backup our hard disk
- but have encountered excessive number of CRC errors while RESTORing the
- backuped disks. Is this a known problem with the use of ZIP and BACKUP ?
- Generally our ZIPped files are over 10MB and therefore requires at least
- a dozen of 3.5 HD disks (sometimes over 20 disks!!) to BACKUP the archive
- file.
-
- Any suggestion on backuping a very large zip file ? Any alternative
- (from ftp?) ?
-
- We also have access to ZOO, ARJ and LHA but have not used them as serious
- as above.
