- help me please! it seems that every time i load up windows, and also
- when i load up certain apps, I get a message saying "Cannot read from
- drive G", and i have to press the stupid Cancel button. My CD-ROM's
- connected to drive D, and the only time that i don't get this message is
- when i have a (non-audio) CD in the drive, which makes a little sense.
- what doesn't make since, though, is why it's searching for something in
- the drive in the first place. It never searches the floppies for
- anything, so why search the CDROM drive? i thought it had something to
- do with a LASTDRIVE statement in my config.sys, but that wasn't it.
- please, for my sanity, tell me how (if possible) to stop this annoying
- message from popping up on my screen! it's almost as annoying as those
- silly screens that's telling me to register my shareware! :)
-
- thanx in advance,
- -jon everyday remembering Christ
