  12. help me please! it seems that every time i load up windows, and also
  13. when i load up certain apps, I get a message saying "Cannot read from
  14. drive G", and i have to press the stupid Cancel button.  My CD-ROM's
  15. connected to drive D, and the only time that i don't get this message is
  16. when i have a (non-audio) CD in the drive, which makes a little sense.
  17. what doesn't make since, though, is why it's searching for something in
  18. the drive in the first place.  It never searches the floppies for
  19. anything, so why search the CDROM drive? i thought it had something to
  20. do with a LASTDRIVE statement in my config.sys, but that wasn't it.
  21. please, for my sanity, tell me how (if possible) to stop this annoying
  22. message from popping up on my screen! it's almost as annoying as those
  23. silly screens that's telling me to register my shareware! :)
