  21. Yes, please post it. I didn't take a closer look to the security API and
  22. the Service Control Manager API now, but I have heard different opinions
  23. about this topic. As far as I know, you can change the owner of a process,
  24. when you know userid and password.

  26. There is something, that also contradicts to your opinion: When you go to
  27. the Control Panel, select services and then configure a service you can
  28. choose to start this service under the system account (get full access)
  29. or to supply a Userid/Password to start the service under a different
  30. security context.

  32. The appropriate way to start a telnetd, would be to run it through the
  33. Service API (NET START TELNETD). Maybe someone from Microsoft can comment
  34. on this.
