- Yes, please post it. I didn't take a closer look to the security API and
- the Service Control Manager API now, but I have heard different opinions
- about this topic. As far as I know, you can change the owner of a process,
- when you know userid and password.

- There is something, that also contradicts to your opinion: When you go to
- the Control Panel, select services and then configure a service you can
- choose to start this service under the system account (get full access)
- or to supply a Userid/Password to start the service under a different
- security context.

- The appropriate way to start a telnetd, would be to run it through the
- Service API (NET START TELNETD). Maybe someone from Microsoft can comment
- on this.
