  20. Another poster has already noted that this patch is available on CICA.

  22. Unless there's a new patch I don't know about, this is the one which brings
  23. your system up to the MSC 7.0a version.  That's the good news; the bad news
  24. is that it contains no changes whatever to the C compiler itself.  All of
  25. the changes are to the support utilities (make, link, etc.).  So...if you're
  26. encountering a problem with the compiler itself the patch disk won't help
  27. you, but it may provide relief if you've got problems with the other 
  28. stuff.

  30. I don't know if Microsoft has changed the floppies they're distributing
  31. to reflect the 7.0a level, but the CD-ROM distribution (when they finally
  32. started shipping in September) included the fixes.
