  28. I'm sorry to say that you'd have to blame your hardware.  But only on
  29. the 3-chip SIMMs.  This problem surface occasionally on the network
  30. and the reason had been posted by many.

  32. I'll just re-iterate -- seems like you have a older motherboard
  33. which can only refresh 1 bit on each DRAM chip.  With 9 chip SIMMs
  34. (1x9) this is not a problem. With 3 chip SIMMs (1x1 + 4x2) the two
  35. 4bit chips will not get refreshed properly.

  37. Try and see if you supplier will give you a free replacement. 
  38. Otherwise you can always try a swap with somebody in you local.
