- I'm sorry to say that you'd have to blame your hardware. But only on
- the 3-chip SIMMs. This problem surface occasionally on the network
- and the reason had been posted by many.

- I'll just re-iterate -- seems like you have a older motherboard
- which can only refresh 1 bit on each DRAM chip. With 9 chip SIMMs
- (1x9) this is not a problem. With 3 chip SIMMs (1x1 + 4x2) the two
- 4bit chips will not get refreshed properly.

- Try and see if you supplier will give you a free replacement.
- Otherwise you can always try a swap with somebody in you local.
