- I haven't been able to try this yet, but if the only thing that is wrong is
- the character spacing you should be able to compensate. To generate a
- readable barcode you can kern (insert spacing between the characters) by an
- amount depending on the font size you are using. In MS Word this can be
- accomplished using the Format/Character operation (spacing of 4pt seemed
- good at a font size of 44pt, but I don't have a reader handy right now)

- PS. Does anyone know how to edit the properties of a Truetype font. It seems
- that this could also be corrected better by fixing the font itself.
