  17. I posted a bmptoppm/ppmtobmp pair of programs in alt.sources last
  18. November.  Consult your local alt.sources archive site.  You must have
  19. PBMPLUS (version 10dec91) to compile them, as they use the PBMPLUS
  20. libraries.  I've sent them to Jef Poskanzer for inclusion in the next
  21. release of PBMPLUS.

  23. They don't yet handle RLE-encoded Windows BMP files, as I didn't know
  24. they existed when I wrote bmptoppm.  Yes, I'll add support for those
  25. files one day.  If you want to add it youself, feel free to send me
  26. diffs...
