- I got a couple responses on how to convert mac TrueType fonts to Windows 3.x
- TrueType fonts.
-
-
- I have not got this to work yet:
-
- >It's really quite simple. All you need is the Mac TT file's data
- >fork with the resource header stripped off. To do this you will
- >need a binary editor (BEAV for example is available at most
- >PC ftp sites.) Search for the ASCII sequence `cmap', back up 12
- >bytes, and delete everything before that point. Voila! A TT
- >font suitable for Windows installation.
-
- Get TT-converter, a Mac utility that will do it for you ( I haven't tried this
- yet). TT-Converter is available on mac.archive.umich.edu in the
- mac/util/font directory (I believe this is right) [ttconverter1.3.cpt.hqx.Z]
-
- Hope this helps all that asked.
