- You must have some disk space in virtual memory. Windows has a "virtual memory"
- feature which allows hard disk space to be used like RAM--without the speed of
- RAM, of course. If you don't want this virtual memory (i.e. if you rarely have
- multiple sessions running and don't need more memory), you can set virtual
- memory to 0K and it will vanish. If (a *big* if) you don't need the added
- memory, removing virtual memory will probably speed things up, as there will
- be less disk access when you open, close and switch between tasks.

- When I had 4 MB, I used 2 MB of hard disk space for virtual memory. When I
- upgraded to 8 MB, I removed it. I've had no problems in Windows due to
- lack of memory.
