- In my experience it takes a fairly long shaking out period before
- you learn all the tiny little tricks you knew in Wordperfect, eg.
- how do you indent a paragraph? It helps to have someone around who
- knows it. The more features you use the longer it takes getting
- used to, but its no big deal.
-
- WP4W isn't nearly as good as Word, but it isn't actually all that
- bad (except for speed - but they're supposedly working on that).
- If you have a bunch of people to retrain perhaps its best to hold
- on to it and hope for the best as far as upgrades go (one thing WP
- Corp is _really_ good for, besides its phone support, is getting
- interim releases out with bug fixes. WP 5.0 and 5.1 for DOS sucked
- too in their first release. After a year and three quarterly updates
- they had improved to an incredible degree).
