- Can anyone recommend a text dbms that can store a couple of thousand
- text objects, index them and allow keyword search with logical operations
- like AND/OR, and NOT on the full text?
-
- Features like the following would be nice:
-
- Warning for collisions of document names
- on-the-fly compression/decompression of the text.
- long document titles
- good browsing facilities for titles and contents
- Ability to sort, index, and recover files in popular WP
- formats would be a real plus.
-
- I know of packages like BASIS that do this in the mini/mainframe
- world. I'd like a MS-Windows friendly package. This is for my own use
- so $$$ is an issue.
-
- Thanks.
