  32. Nope, BigDesk is a Shareware virtual desktop manager - it allows you to use 
  33. the screen as a 'window' on to a much larger desktop.

  35. The only reference I've seen for multi CRT software was a short review in Byte
  36. sometime in the last year of a double SVGA card that allowed two SVGA
  37. monitors to be driven from a single card, it came bundled with multi-CRT
  38. drivers for Windows. The card is still advertised in the smaller ADs in Byte.

  40. If I remember rightly Byte thought it was, erm, not terribly good.
  41. Also, has your Boss ever really tried to use such a thing? I've used multi
  42. CRT Macs and they seem fun for about ten minutes, then you use one screen
  43. for all your work, and run a few DAs in the other.

  45. If I were you I'd just order a decent sized monitor (17-24"), run BackMenu or
  46. a similar shell, that doesn't steal your desktop space, and try BigDesk.

  48. BackMenu and BigDesk are both widely available shareware - try DLing them
  49. from cica.
