  13.     Some time ago I posted about a problem with Word spacing the
  14. equations rather strangely, it turned out that the problem is that MS, in
  15. order to get around some other problem, treated the equations as
  16. subscripts. Well, I find myself back at the writing table and was wondering
  17. if any of the "maintenance" releases have fixed this problem (what are they
  18. up to anyway, has 2.0c been released yet?). The problem for me is that if
  19. you correct the character format so that an equation is not subscripted it
  20. makes it difficult to place an equation number anywhere that looks good.
