- Some time ago I posted about a problem with Word spacing the
- equations rather strangely, it turned out that the problem is that MS, in
- order to get around some other problem, treated the equations as
- subscripts. Well, I find myself back at the writing table and was wondering
- if any of the "maintenance" releases have fixed this problem (what are they
- up to anyway, has 2.0c been released yet?). The problem for me is that if
- you correct the character format so that an equation is not subscripted it
- makes it difficult to place an equation number anywhere that looks good.
